Cape Cod

Because I grew up in Massachusetts, I loved going to the Cape on summer vacations to visit family and friends. I came to love the gorgeous beaches of the Cape Cod National Seashore, as well as the numerous others that are located on both the north and south sides of this peninsula. This affords views of both sunrises and sunsets. Cape Cod is peppered with lighthouses, and even has its eccentricities such as a Dutch windmill, the sand dunes in Truro, and the town of Provincetown. “P-town” has a town dock with so many fishing boats to photograph, and it’s also an artist’s colony to a thriving gay population. There is so much here to photograph that I always hate driving back across the Bourne bridge to go home.
