The Palouse is a geographic region made up of north central Idaho, southeastern Washington, and parts of northeastern Oregon.
I had never heard of this area but I kept seeing images of stunning green rolling hills in magazines like Outdoor Photographer. This place was definitely on my list but it wasn’t until I was on a photo workshop in Oregon with Rick Sammon that his guest speaker, Nick Page gave a presentation of some of his photography. I was blown away and had to see this place for myself. After his talk was over I marched up to Nick to sign up for a workshop in the Palouse. Once there I fell in love with these crazy green hillsides, the seasonal wildflowers, and the farms which dotted the countryside.
